Rambutan gravy


  • Rambutan – as required.
  • Onion – as required.
  • Turmeric powder – as required.
  • Curry leaves – as required.
  • Salt – as required.
  • Grated coconut – as required.
  • Dried chilies – as required.
  • Mustard – as required.


  • Peel rambutan. In a pot, boil rambutan, sliced onion, and green chilies, turmeric powder, curry leaves with little water.
  • Make a paste of grated coconut, turmeric, garlic, cumin, dried chilies, and onion.
  • To the cooked rambutan add the prepared paste with salt and water.
  • Heat oil in another pan, splutter mustard. Add onion and curry leaves.
  • Pour the mix into the cooked rambutan and remove it from the flame.
