Sadya Special Palada Payasam


  • Rice ada – 1 kg
  • Cashew nut – 250 grm
  • Raisins- 250 gm
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Fresh milk – 1 ltr
  • Ghee – 2 or 3 tbsp


  • Heat water in a pan add rice ada ,boil them well .
  • Remove from heat and drain the water completely .
  • Then pour some water in the boiled ada and drain ,set aside.
  • Heat ghee in apan add cashew nut and raisins roasted them well and set aside.
  • Again we heat heavy bottom pan add fresh milk and sugar
  • Add some ghee and mix them well.
  • Then we have to add cooked rice ada and stir continuously to avoid sticking .
  • Add roasted cashewnut and raisin mix them well.
  • Finally add some milk to dilute their thickness.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Serve and enjoy special palada payasam
