Ingredients
- Egg -6 nos
- Ginger – 1 medium
- Garlic – 6 or 7 nos
- Grated coconut – 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Gram masala -1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
- Chopped onion – 3 nos
- Green chilli – 3 nos
- Chopped tomato-2 nos
- Mustard seed – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil -2 tbsp
Method
- Take a heavy mud pot with water egg and salt ,then boil 7 or 8 minutes till it ready then peel and set
a side - Heat oil in a pan add red chilli powder,turmeric powder ,salt and boiled egg , toss in medium heat
and saute well, remove and keep aside - Then we grind the coconut into fine paste and set a side.
- Heat oil in a another pan add mustard seed ,when its starts to splutter .
- Add curry leaves, chopped onion ,green chilli, crushed ginger garlic paste and saute well
- Then we add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt saute well
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute well till they become soften .
- Then we add coconut paste ,garam masala and fried egg .
- Finally we add some rice water and mix ,cover and cook for some minutes
- Remove from fire and keep a side.
- Serve and enjoy egg curry with puttu

- Rice flour -1 kg
- Grated coconut – 1 cup
- water- for mixing
- salt to taste
method
- Take a bowl add rice flour and salt mix well
- Now we sprinkle little by little amount of water and mix the rice flour with your finger
- We have to pour two cups of water in the base vessel of the puttu kudam and heat well
- Then we take a puttu steamer and layer with grated coconut
- Again we add wheat flour mix .again layer with grated coconut
- Then again we add wheat flour mix and finally we add grated coconut and level it up.
- Close the puttu kutty and steam well.
- Remove the puttu kutty from the bottom vessel and allow the putte inside to cool some minutes.
- Then using a wooden spatula n or stick that accompanied the puttu kudam remove the steamed
putte - Serve and enjoy the wheat puttu with egg curry
