Ingredients
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Onion – 3 nos
- Ginger – 1 nos
- Garlic – 9 or 10 nos
- Tomatoes – 2 nos
- Curry leaves – 4 or 5 sprigs
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tbsp
- Cardamom – 3 or 4 nos
- salt – 1 or 2 tbsp
- Oil – 4 or 5 tbsp
Method
- Firstly, we have to cut and clean the chicken.
- Then rinse, drain, and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed ,let them splutter for a few seconds.
- Add curry leaves and green chilli,saute them well.
- Then add crush ginger and garlic paste ,sauté them well
- Then add chopped onion and saute them well.
- Then add some spices like turmeric powder and coriander powder
- Add red chilli powder,pepper powder,garam masala and salt
- saute until the raw smell of the spices completely disappears.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and crush cardamom powder ,saute them well, till they become soften.
- Add cleaned chicken pieces and combine them well.
- Add sufficent amount of water and cook them well.
- Remove from fire and keep aside.
- Serve the tasty chicken curry with boiled tapioca
