6 Variety Of Bajji in Single Batter | 6 Bajji in 5 Minutes

Egg bajji

Ingredients

  • Egg – 5 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Heat water in a pan.
  • Add salt and eggs, cover and boil them well.
  • Drain the boiled eggs and put them in a bowl filled with cold water.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • The peeled boiled eggs should then be cut in half and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, dip the boiled egg in the batter, and coat well.
  • Then, drop the boiled egg into the oil.
  • Then we have to flip the eggs once the other side gets golden brown.
  • Remove the fried eggs from the oil and set aside to drain excess oil.
  • Serve the egg bajji with tea or coffee.

Banana bajji

Ingredients

  • Banana – 2 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Peel the banana and cut it in half.
  • Then slice it into very thin slices and set it aside.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Dip each banana slice in the batter and coat well.
  • Then drop them in the hot oil and cook both sides until crisp and golden brown.
  • Drain the excess oil and set it aside.
  • Serve the tasty banana bajji with tea or coffee.

Potato bajji

Ingredients

  • Potato – 2 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Then peel the potatoes and set them aside.
  • The peeled potatoes should then be cut into round, thin slices and set aside.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Then dip the potato slices into the batter and coat thoroughly.
  • Then, drop the coated potato slices into the oil.
  • Then we have to flip the potatoes once the other side gets golden brown.
  • Remove the fried potatoes from the oil and place them on a plate to drain the excess oil.
  • Serve the tasty potato bajji with tea or coffee.

Onion bajji

Ingredients

  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Firstly ,we have to peel the onion and set aside
  • Then wash the onion and set it aside.
  • Set aside the onion, which has been cut into round slices.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Dip each onion slice in the batter and coat well.
  • Then drop them in the hot oil and cook both sides until crisp and golden brown.
  • Drain the excess oil and set it aside.
  • Serve the tasty onion bajji with tea or coffee.

Raw banana bajji

Ingredients

  • Raw banana – 5 to 6 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Then peel the raw banana.
  • Now slice the raw banana into thin slices.set aside.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the raw banana into the batter and coat it on all sides.Fry this in hot oil till it is golden and cooked on both sides.
  • Drain and set aside the raw banana bajji.
  • Serve the raw banana bajji with tea or coffee.

Brinjal bajji

Ingredients

  • Brinjal – 2 to 3 nos
  • Gram flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Method

  • Then cut the brinjal into very thin slices in length wise.
  • Take a bowl and add grame flour, rice flour, salt and asafoetida powder.
  • Add some red chilli powder and mix them well.
  • Add some water and make it into a smooth batter.
  • It should be a little thinner than dosa batter. but don’t make it too thin.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip each brinjal slice in the batter and coat well.
  • Then drop them in the hot oil and cook both sides until crisp and golden brown.
  • Drain the excess oil and set it aside.
  • Serve the tasty brinjal into tea or coffee
