Rava ladoo


  • Rava-1 kg
  • Milk- 1cup
  • Turmeric -1 pinch
  • Sugar 3 or 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom -3 or 4 seeds
  • Grated coconut-1 cup
  • Cashew nut-25o gm
  • Raisins-250 gm


  •  First we boil milk and pinch of turmeric,keep it in a side
  •  Then we crush the sugar and cardamom,keep it in a bowl
  •  Then we pour ghee in a hot pan ,add cashew and fry on a medium flame until they
    turn light golden brown
  •  Add raisins stir for some minutes ,and transfer to a bowl
  •  Heat ghee in a pan,add grated coconut saute for some minutes
  •  Then we add rava,powdered sugarand cardamom mix well and saute
  • Add fried cashew nut and raisins mix well,and transfer in to a large bowl.
  •  Pour small amount of milk in to the rava mix bowl and mix well, to avoid any lumps
  •  After a minute, rava absorbs the turmeric milk.
  •  when its still warm enough, prepare laddu with your palm.
  •  Finally, serve the rava ladoo .and enjoy the sweet taste of ladoo
